Happy The IMP list

IMP have certainly been busy over the last few years!

I enjoyed quite a few of those gigs (wish I had ettended more). My favourite was AMute, but I'm being biased as I was also on the line up (East of Insanity). Really enjoyed playing that gig, I'm told the visuals worked well (shame I couldnt see them as I had my back to the screen) :o) Another one of my favourites was Beastman at Drakes (playing a Nintendo Gameboy), never seen anyone perform at an Aberdeen venue in a caveman outfit before :o)

After a spell playing about with some other noisemaking ideas and not playing any gigs, I'd be happy to play some gigs if IMP want me back (same stuff as before, Fripp style loops, with EBow and electronica)?

Cheers,

Dave

(East of Insanity)

Here are some acts I'd like to see in Aberdeen, with IMP being suitable promoters:

Samamidon
B. Fleischmann
Holy Fuck
Port-Royal
Les Savy Fav
Fuck Buttons
Broken Social Scene
Eluvium
Sun Kil Moon/Mark Kozelek
Parts & Labor
Josh Pearson

I'll second Fuck Buttons. That would be awesome.

We've been close with a couple of those. Why don't you just do them yourself?
