BA do nice "deli" sandwiches on flights. I think that's only for flights around lunchtime though, they're always pretty good though.

I had a nice Prawn and Rocket Salad on the way back from Zurich on BA a couple of weeks ago, and got 2 G&Ts between Heathrow and Glasgow, barely time to scoof them before touchdown. BA... pricey but nae bad.

KLM only give you a biscuit and a cup of tea now on short flights. Used to be a sandwich, now it's a biscuit.

Anyway, I like the fact that Branson called him personally and thanked him for his "constructive, if tongue-in-cheek" email. I like Richard Branson, he seems like a genuinely decent bloke.
