As far as I'm concerned, Hicks is a watered-down less funny version of George Carlin.

Swings and roundabouts.......

I just finally got my Eddie Izzard DVDs back after a year. Watched Dress To Kill again, and it still makes me laugh. Attempted to give Sexie another go (I've never watched it the whole way through) and it got shut off after a very unfunny 15 minutes. What happened to Eddie?

Chris Rock is so poor that it verges upon being insulting.

Agreed on Catherine Tate. I'd like to take a sledgehammer to her face.

Yeah Sexie is quite poor by his standards, Dress to Kill was the first one I saw and still my favourite. Just stuck all his shows in Audio format on my ipod. Should brighten up the commute!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned David Cross but he's damn good. Can find a few of his shows in audio on torrentspy, limewire etc.

Chris Rock is one of the most racist men on the planet, all he blows on about is how much he hates white people. Funny for 2 mins, but gets a bit boring after a while.

I have one of his stand up dvds, he's just a shit version of Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor.

I don't think I've met anyone who thought Sexie was good. Maybe Eddie has set the bar a bit too high with his previous tours/dvds...
