October 11th at Warehouse (formerly Moshulu)

Flood of Red tear out of the starting blocks with their unique brand of emotional rock, drawing on the early bludgeoning melodies of Funeral for a Friend and mixing it up with the electronic nous of Enter Shikari. These Metal Hammer tipped Glaswegians mix up a ferocious live show with catchy sing a long anthems which will be bounding around your head for days.

Doors 7pm, Tickets £6.00, available from Welcome to TicketWeb! and OneUp Records, Belmont Street.

I've been offered a spot on the bands guestlist for this, but don't really like Flood Of Red at all. I haven't heard the new record mind you and it's supposed to be quite different from their old stuff.

Support looks alright though, a bit gutted Lower Than Atlantis pulled however.
