RO CAMPBELL

Scottish based Aussie, Ro Campbell did his first ever gig, aged 29, at The Stand's Red Raw night, back in early 2005. Since then he has been busy learning the craft by gigging all over Britain and as far afield as Shetland, Barcelona, Budapest, Dublin, Melbourne and Her Majesties Prison, Glen Ochil.

He has continued to go from strength to strength, his material being wide ranging and well crafted, and he can be seen regularly at The Stand supporting some of the biggest names on the comedy circuit.

Recently Ro has written for and been a guest on Radio Scotland and written for BBC Three's Comedy Shuffle, and wrote and featured in a short film produced by The Comedy Unit (and directed by 2007 BAFTA winner Will Andrews).

He did 2 shows at the 2008 Fringe, and you may also have seen him at The Fringe since ‘05 in late night clubs such as Spank!, The Phat cave, Late 'N 'Live, The Free Beer Show, Greg Fleet and Friends, James Campbell's Comedy 4 kids , PBH and some comedians.

ANDY VAUGHAN

Andy Vaughan is one of the young stars of Scotland’s stand up comedy scene. A regular on the Scottish Comedy circuit Andy comes up to Aberdeen after getting to the final of the Chortle Student Comedy Competition for the second year. He could easily be one of those acts that you see now and then in ten years time bore your friends senseless with tales of how you saw him in a club in Aberdeen.
