2004 saw Dundee’s Hazey Janes begin to make an impact in their hometown, their self-titled debut six-track release and farewell to tenement blues, soon spreading across Scotland. Later they recoded their first full-length LP – Hotel Radio – with Josh Rouse and Golden Smog Spanish producer Paco Loco. The new recording took the bands style in a new direction with warm harmonies and the fusing of the grand traditions of Scottish guitar-pop, Alt.
