I'd suggest you go to bassment before the gig, as there will be people looking to sell their spares.

I've had 5 mates all cancel on the tickets i bought for them, with very little notice Got rid of all of those ones, but might have 1 spare depending on a mate who's dithering

so what did everyone think then? great to hear actually it's darkness again as it's one of my favourite idlewild songs. lots of good old stuff and some tasty newer ones. roddy's voice was a bit knackered though for american english onwards. sound was weird too, was a bit too crisp for both bands which sounds like a strange complaint but i think sometimes bands need a bit of roughness to the sound. wasn't too bad though.

twilight sad were awesome as usual too. will be good to see them again in march. should be a good support too

The Twilight Sad and Idlewild were both predictably fantastic! The audience weren't too arsehole-ish down the front either, which is always nice.

I'm with dave on the sound. It wasn't at all bad, but it lacked a certain raw punch, most noticeably during the TS set.

Brilliant stuff from both bands. Have to say I couldn't fault the sound at all, thought it was perfect.

Sorry for not speaking to many people I saw though, I was incredibly hungover and struggling to form sentences

good gig. twiligt sad were OK, nae sure tho. but idlewild were really good. on top form. didnt think the sound would be all that gd @ mosh but it was.

Good night, good crowd. The Twilight Sound were quite good. Wouldn't go to see them in particular i don't think though. I forgot how much I liked Idlewild until Saturday. Shame I couldn't see anything. Twas good to hear them playing a lot of older material (though sadly not Captain or These Wooden Ideas...or did they? At the time I didn't seem to think so but then it seemed familar the next day).

Low point of the evening was Moshulu running out of draft beer and being charged £2.70 for a bottle of Carling. I felt robbed
