Last year's one was a great day/evening...lovely music, snow falling outside, bladder filling up with fine coffee

So how were the welfare mothers? (And everyone else but I just wanna hear that K did ok)

Sorry I missed it. I was stuck in Oxford for an office xmas do. WORST band ever. I think Kev's baby could have done better on guitar. Or drums. Or Vocals. You get the picture.

I saw from Niall Slater to the start of the Holy Folks, and enjoyed myself immensely, despite a heavy cold/bad cough which eventually drove me home (well....it was my girlfriend who did the actual driving, but you know what I mean). Missed most of the Holy Folks, but really liked their new one

Welfare Mothers were fine....a few folk near me were commenting on how Kevin's vocals were very effective, and Pete was complementing him well. Of course they still missed that other guitarist!!!!

I'd not seen a few of the acts before (was it Jess Yong with the Felix guitar?? She was a blast, and I enjoyed No Passeron too....subdued but cutting I thought). Scott (Delawair) was on great form, as always, and Niall was punchy/cool too. The chap with the anti-Cults rant song was great fun (sorry....missed his name).I know I would've enjoyed everything else I missed as well.

I'm feeling better now...any chance of a repeat this weekend??????

I dotted in on 3 short occasions and had a great time. I think Tim Courtney was the man with the mandolin and the heroic wooly hat... fantastic stuff.

I seriously regret missing so much. Kilau is one of the finest venues in Aberdeen, nay the world!

only saw delawair and alan cynic. both were on fine form. amazingly it was the first time i'd seen alan play but i enjoyed every minute of it. i was particularly impressed with the loop pedal, that worked brilliantly well.
