J.Spaceman® Acoustic Mainlines

Spaceman is set to embark on a rare acoustic 9-date tour of the UK this Autumn. The dates will showcase some of the songs from the forthcoming Spiritualized album as well as tracks from the Spacemen 3 and Spiritualized catalogues and songs from other artists. He will be accompanied on all dates by a string quartet, gospel singers and Doggen on Fender Rhodes. Spaceman has also resumed work mixing the follow-up to the hugely successful Top 5 album, ‘Amazing Grace’, which was halted last year due to serious illness. Edinburgh Queen's Hall - looks like he's revisiting the venue which hosted his collaborations with Steve Martland in '98 and '99 for the Flux Festivals. If it's anywhere as good as those shows were, this is going to be very special indeed.

I know this is not until November, but I'm finding it very hard not to get excited anyway. Jason did a couple of new songs at the Daniel Johnston show in London a couple of months ago which sounded very promising for the new album.
