Default DIRTY HEARTS CLUB ::Pre T-inthePark party :: THE VERY and THEE COMRADES :: July 6th::

Hey peeps,

Two quality bands coming up in the lead up to TinthePark at the Dirty Hearts Club!

And strangely enough, both have played a t the T-Break stage at the previous years festival!

THE VERY
The Very are Jake Miller and Robin Von Blitz and they late 2003 founded in Edinburgh .They have graced our fair city before at Go North but heres some more info on those who missed them first time around. The band have a residency at Edinburgh underground punk club "Goulag Beat", they have received radio play on Radio 1 aswell as done sessions for Radio Scotland. They have supported Mystery Jets, Clap your Hands Say Yeah, played TinthePark,IntheCity and appeared on Steve Lamacq's 6Music radio show.

"THE EDINBURGH DUO HAVE ALREADY CAUSED A STORM THROUGHOUT SCOTLAND WITH THEIR GUTSY ONSTAGE ANTICS",The Sun

AND SUPPORTING BUT IN NO WAY LESS IMPORTANT...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

V-2 SCHNEIDER (formerly THEE COMRADES)
You will know them as Edinburghs Spitfire clubs regulars THEE COMRADES but alas they are changing theyre moniker and are now V-2 SCHNEIDER! (a david bowie b-side interestingly enough). Little is known of this new direction but THEE COMRADES are as follows and are top notch. If their previous from is anything to go on...

The band have supported top names including The Kooks and El Presidente, and have shared stages with rising stars such as Clor, Young Knives, Kubichek!, Good Shoes and Envelopes.

They recorded a live session for Radio 1, which aired on Vic Galloway's show. They also had their demo selected out of the mountain recieved by Steve Lamacq which was played on his show nationwide.

In the next few months, Thee Comrades/V-2 Schneider will be playing a series of live shows around the country as well as heading in to the studio to record their debut single, which will be released on Spitfires Records.
