Considering they are doing the Albert Hall show the night before, the support act must be coming up too in my reckoning. If the rumours are true, then seeing the support band will be worth it alone!!

They must be playing a very different set to the Edinburgh and ABC shows this last year.

i still maintain that there's no reason a glasglow based band can't play aberdeen on their tour and so will stubbornly not go to this gig(though i'm definitely wavering now).

Mogwai will never play Aberdeen- fact. Due to the rude crowd at their last show up here.

The rumoured supports for Albert Hall include *cough* Envy, and *cough cough* Shellac; i'm guessing the supports there will be the same as Glasgow.

I'd absolutely love to see Envy make the trip over, especially at the Barra's.

Nah... not a myth. There have been many attempts by abdn promoters to get mogwai up; even as far back as 5 years ago when i first moved through, and they were all met with a strong and definite NO.

exactly, boo fucking hoo. surely fucking mogwai can cope with some loud gig goers? belle and sebastien i could understand but this is mogwai!

There is still a very strong rumour that Mogwai sacked Brendan for talking through an Arab Strap set; so perhaps that would suggest they cant cope with it!!

... although i thought the other rumour about why they sacked him was better- because he cracked a chair across Stuart Braithwaits head. That would be amazing.
