IMPORTANT: Reminder about gig announcements and the calendar
I've noticed a lot of gigs that are being announced in this forum but are NOT being added to the calendar. Please bear in mind that gigs and events are no longer automatically added to the calendar once they are posted here.
To get an event to appear in the site calendar you MUST add it yourself through the calendar page. After that the moderators will check it includes all the necessary information and approve it's addition. The sticky thread (How do I add my event(s) to the calendar?) at the top of this forum explains everything you need to do, so please read it if you're unsure of the process. This facility is there for you to promote your gigs. It's only as useful as the information on it so please try and add your events once you've announced them here.
