The great thing about last night was the fact that each act had their own little pocket of punters that happily listened and enjoyed all the other acts. Mr Truax, Sister Spinster, Back Beater and String thing were a fine climax to the evenings proceedings though.

I thought the whole night was great, with my high spots being Elephant Micah and Thomas Truax. I saw Thomas in Edinburgh on Saturday, and he had to fight hard to win over a very loud audience. I agree with twoback joe,- what impressed me last night was the audience's respect for the differing styles of music. I feared that after being whipped up into a frenzy by Gatechien that it would be like Edinburgh all over again, but everyone in the place seemed to be there for the music, and Thomas' set was one of his best as a consequence.

That was the best gig I've been to in ages!! My mouth was open the entire time Thomas Truax was on because I just couldn't believe the stuff he was doing with what was essentially a bunch of crap. Gatechien were absolutely awesome too, was great to have a front row spot although i found confetti in my shoes this morning.
