Our host for the evening, Mayhem did perform a couple of his own songs, and as for collaborating with Q-Bert...how many MC's in the UK can say they had Q-Bert as their backing DJ! Q heard Mayhem rapping at the soundcheck and asked if he'd like to do something before the end of the night...Mayhem said he'd have to think about it.
Good to hear everyone had a good night, nights like these (i.e. Public Enemy, DJ Q-Bert, etc.) don't come to Aberdeen enough. I'm sorry to say we lost out on KRS-One this year too...too much money and a HUGE entourage! Anyway, roll on the 20th... |
