Default Bluetones to play Keith Chaos Live

The Bluetones are the latest band to be added to the Keith Chaos Live festival bill with more to come.... The Bluetones remain one of biggest draws of the thriving UK rock underground and are a perfect fit for the event with their graceful, slightly psychedelic but muscular guitar pop.

The Bluetones are: Mark Morriss (lead vocals), Adam Devlin (guitar), Scott Morriss (bass/backing vocals) and Eds Chesters (drums)

Filling the gap that the Stone Roses left behind, The Bluetones debut album "Expecting to Fly" hit the top of the charts on its release and they went on to score four UK top 10 hits between 1996 and 1998. They are best known for their classic songs such as Slight Return, Bluetonic, Cut Some Rug, Marblehead Johnson and If…

Event Background
Keith Chaos Live is a charity festival organised by local Keith man Steven Purves and takes place on the 18th June in Keith, Moray and runs from Midday ‘til Midnight. The festival is a charity event to benefit the local Keith Cancer Link Charity.

The festival will take place on site of the traditional Great Keith Show and takes advantage of the Seafield Park’s natural features with the stages facing onto the slopes of the giving an amphitheatre effect.

Tickets for the event cost £20 (children aged 10 or under will be allowed free entry). There will be a bar and recreation facilities within the field plus camping near to the site.

The event is packed with the best in new music from the North of Scotland along with the experience of The Bluetones, The Grim Northern Social and John Young (who has played with Fish, The Scorpions, Paul Rodgers and Bonnie Tyler). The line up, so far, is as follows:

The Bluetones
The Grim Northern Social

Blue Gum Ears
The Method
Bigfoot
Eskimo Blonde
Jo McCafferty
Baby Karma
John Young
Girl Said No
