The Viper Lounge - every thursday


A new night catering for those who like Indie, rock (n' roll) , retro, alternative, blah blah will be held every thursday at Blu Bar, The Galleria, Bon-Accord St.

DJ Sandman will be playin at the tunes on the decks from 9pm and there will be OPEN MIC slots between the set.

However, every last thursday of the month will feature a live band performance before the DJ starts. Anyone interseted give us a shout on (01224) 574237 - free booze for those who play.

Better still, Jack Daniels is sponsoring the night so, there's deal on JD from cocktail pitchers, cocktails and of course JD & dash for £1.50 - selected beers £1.50 too.

The night kicks off this thursday (31st Mrach) with a special launch night. The Viper Lines & the Wild Cards start at 8pm with a short set each before former Inspiral carpet frontman Clint Boon takes to the decks toplay out the tunes until midnight.

After the success of the Ocean Colour Scene aftershow party make note for May 1st as this will be a special Sunday Viper Lounge for the Idlewild Aftershow Party. Don't delay gettin there after the gig cause it'll be feckin heavin'!!! Possiblity of live band on the night before the gig - watch this space...
