I am not glorifying violence here but I actually would have preferred to have seen him throw in a few more for good measure. Same with another video posted up yesterday of some topless chav starting on a guy in his own doorway...the 'victim' takes his shit for about 3 minutes solid without reacting, save from pushing his wheelie bin back into position every time the chav tries to push it over. Eventually a 'fight' starts and the bloke floors the ned with 1 punch, and he crawls out of the garden. Only one punch? Come on! 'Sinking to their level' is one thing, but that would involve verbally and physically assaulting an innocent member of the public. Returning the chav's favour with a few solid punches is quite another thing.

yeah, i saw that one too. If he had gone in and given him a beating on the floor he would have come across no better then the guy who started it (in both videos). I don't like violence either but seeing complete bellends getting what they deserve is satisfying. Although for me it's not about the physical pain of gettin a fist to the gob, it's more about getting brought down off that alpha male perch they've put themselves onto and in both videos that's what happens.

I'm not so sure. Taking a guy out with one punch shows him who's boss.

I think that's more humiliating than getting into a brawl and pummelling them into oblivion. Plus, the more punches you throw, the more chance you have of landing yourself in bother with the rozzers. A one punch take down can be dismissed with provocation or as self defence, but if you follow through with a 10 punch flurry, breaking a cheek bone and their nose, fracturing their skull etc (which is probably what everyone would like to do to these little fuckers), could be "disproportionate" in the eyes of the law. But, a really good beating would teach the little bastards a lesson.
