I like Pizza Express. The pizza is good, but not really value for money in terms of quantity I don't think.

just tried Mr Li's on crown terrace...im afraid it was bloody awful!
first they brought me a meat soup (when i asked for a veggie one) then they brought me some gelatinous gloop...it tasted of stale oil. yuck.
the rest of it was either bland, tough meat or not as described on the menu. and it cost £20 per head with no booze.
not recommended by me anyway...maybe i was just unlucky cos the other guy said it was good.

Went 2 Moonfish recently and had one of the best dining experiences ever. The food was incredible and the pace of courses was bang on. I have to say the service was top notch: they were caring but not intrusive and were relaxed without pretence. They've pipped it for me over Musa.

I don't eat out much but I really enjoyed Saigon when I went a while back. Vietnamese is the tastiest of tasty Asian foods. It didn't seem too pricey either.

Agreed, the food at Moonfish is on a different level to pretty much anything else I've eaten in Aberdeen.

My recent dining experiences have been as follows -

Marcliffe - Epic food, epic service, epic wine. Can't fault it, but you do pay for it. To be fair, you get shit loads of food and it's of an extremely high standard and I actually think it's good value… but You're talking £50 a head for three courses and a bit of wine. It is excellent though.
Last food order I made was:
Soup of the day (Cauliflower and pancetta)
Lamb Cutlets
Trio of sorbets (these change constantly because they make them in house, but I had mandarin, white chocolate and cucumber. All great. <y favourite one I've ever had was a mojito flavoured one!)

Nazma -
Complete shambled compared to the time I'd been previously. The food was still good but the drinks order was all over the shop (I was at a table of 18 though).

Soul - Tbh, I've always like the food here, especially mid-week when the bar isn't rammed full of assholes. Went for a work thing and despite there being 8 or 9 of us, the service was prompt and the food was excellent. Pretty decent value too if you ignore the bar prices.

The last time I had a sizzlers it was so disappointing. The burger tasted like the ones we used to get at school. They used to be so bloody good.
