As God exists otherwise there would be no law for a legal terminology and floods are usually caused by people when they affect people adversely, this being the case in Nottinghamshire which did not get wet feet on thin fashion shoes, but did in Scotland causing grief to elderly people, relying as they do on God as few others care, a flood being a normal event for a river system, just we get in the way, people build docks and waste tip housing in flood zones and make further flooding, why blame God for what has not been continued during the last 25 years in flood alleviation and planning ... otherwise his name would not have been drawn into the conversation. I must admit, I prefer if people put this down to an act of God rather than global warming. I'm so sick of every meteorological event being attributed to excessive carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
