Hi. I just wanted to announce that I have registered on this forum and say "Thank you" to the administrators for approving my application to join.

I wish to complain in advance that there are certain people who make it their business to try to get me banned from internet forums.

They spread lies about me backed up with highly selective quotes from my website, misunderstood and quoted out of context.

I urge the administrators not to be taken in by those who will now proceed to attack my reputation as I note they have done already in an earlier topic in this forum.

Now if anyone doesn't know me at all, but wants an overview of me - then View my Public Profile I have just filled in on this forum - and see the photographs I have added to the Gallery of me attending 2 protests in Edinburgh.

That is the man I am. Not what others choose to say about me.

I am calling on the good people of Aberdeen in this forum, to speak up for what is fair, right and honest.

But in truth, every politician is a "nationalist" - the Labour, Liberal Democrat, Green, Socialist and Conservatives parties support the nations as well - the nation is simply "the people". Sometimes the nation being talked about is "the British nation" whereas the SNP always talk about "the Scottish nation".

A nationalist policy for example, is the NATIONAL Health Service - because it is for the whole nation to use - not just the rich people.

If you hate and despise the whole idea of the NHS - then OK maybe you are not a nationalist after all.

The problem is not being a "nationalist" - it is being a poor nationalist - by betraying the nation by supporting the monarchy. Anyone who supports the Queen is a very poor nationalist indeed!

The Queen merely makes the British economy millions upon millions every year. The Royal family are part of British history whether people like it or not. Really it wouldn't matter to me if they disappeared. If people are traditionalists then they will like the hysteria surrounding the Royal family.

Everyone will have their own opinions of the politics of the UK and that of Scotland. So I really hope that this isn't going to be where you try and force opinions onto people because that is just plain rude and will make people far more apathetic than they already are.
