It's a long shot but I'm moving there in August so any ideas on what to expect would be brilliant. Have googled flickr'ed and myspaced my arse off, allready looks great.

You can expect the Penguins to be the most popular NHL team in the city

You can expect to have an excellent time, Pittsburg is a really nice city

I think the religious americans will be a low but other than that I'm happy :-)

Not a lot of Sterling but I think I'll still be fine.

Did anyone else watch that Unchained America thing on channel 4 or more4?
I want to buy a big car and go on a road trip now. Chances are good - I probably will!

Does anyone know any good bands from Pittsburgh? Haven't come across a lot yet. There's a Brad Yoder who always pops up but he'll probably make me buy a gun if I ever see him live (joking)...

Black Forest Black Sea (who have played Aberdeen a couple of times) have recently moved from Providence to Pittsburgh.

(They've been on a Gravenhurst album etc)
