I'm at a loss to understand how I've been to the beach thousands of times, but have never found a head!

I feel like I'm missing out somehow.

what you need to do, is murder someone, decapitate them, and drop it on the beach, Nonchalantly walk past it on the way back "ooh, look!...a head"

works every time I do it.

Sounds a good idea!! I was actually thinking of something similar, but dropping the bag from the cliffs at Cove, but then I remembered I don't have a head for heights.

According to a forensic expert, identifying someone from body parts "can be like solving a jigsaw puzzle".

Hmm...

you've got to admit that is handy though.

I mean there is a body if evidence out there...

If they treated all body parts found as a big jigsaw puzzle, they could add the Broughty Ferry leg in to make it more complete. Then, if they use bits of dead birds, fish etc they could piece together a complete 'thing'. If they were still missing the odd bit they could use other shoreline finds like sanitary towels and plastic bottles.

I reckon it'd look a bit like Bigsby!

Apparently Frank McAvennie's been spotted in Arbroath. Someone told him there was a bit of fanny floating about...

But could they scavange any detritus large enough to recreate my nose? At least they wouldn't have to worry about much hair.
