well, "Snow forms when water vapor condenses directly into ice crystals, usually in a cloud. Two years ago Aberdeen was covered in a foot of snow all through March. We hardly got a sprinkling last year though. I hope the snow lasts the week, if only for the kids who are missing out on vital "snow days". Not much longer, though, it's a pain in the arse when it gets icy.

hmm, are the met office real scientists though? surely they just 'guess' based on black magic and dark arts.

There was snow last March, not much but some. I distinctly remember there being snow when my son was born ,and that was last March.
