I didn't think you were taking the piss actually, but feel free. It IS a pretentious name but it's not like none of us have a sense of humour.

Incidentally I wasn't playing this game when I found the name, was just stuck for ideas so sat hitting random article and made a note of anything that sounded like it could be a band name.

If you look it up, not much really happened in the art world during 1864...
