Default Hitchhiking across North America

Someone pointed me towards this site:
Pictures from Hitchhiking Across America

The guy decided to spend some time after Uni hitching across the US taking photos. It's a good story and some great pictures.

that guy is one talented photographer. love his portraits of the fishermen, they're brilliant. i'd love to travel round the states but i think i'd drive it rather than hitchhike.

Damn, the site is blocked at work.

Ever since reading On the Road, I quite fancied a road trip across America, probably like 99% of people who have read it.

I fancy the road trip but I thought On The Road was, well, a bit rubbish really.

I'm planning a wee jaunt to Boston in January.

If I actually make it there, I'm going to do an On the Road and never come back to these godforsaken islands!!!!

But, I've been saying that for years...

I once shook hands with someone mentioned in 'On the road'.

Haven't read it for decades, but I enjoyed it at the time (but then I also enjoyed Melanie and Yes about the same time!).
