Anyone recommend any other ones apart from the Garage and Cathouse?

Barfly and Rockers? King Tuts?
I heard Garage is a bit like Priory on a sunday or something...:S

I'm 100% there will be a better answer for you than what I've just given.

The Solid Rock (beside Central Station), Rufus T Firefly's (Hope Street, I think).

Default Mr.

Don't go to Rockers. Recommend Solid Rock Cafe, Sleazy's is good as well.

The ABC played ok music when I was in last month on a Friday.

I was a bit drunk though, so don't take my word for it.

Rufus T's is a good shout. If you're in Glasgow on a Tuesday the best rock night is Revolution at the QMU. You have to have ID with you in order to get in (even if you are clearly about a hundred)

I wouldn't recommend The Garage.. I've never had particularly great nights there. Nice n' Sleazys is alright, King Tuts is good, Firewater is ok, ABC can be good.. generally when there are a few of you, The Arches..

Probably best to take a wonder down Sauchiehall Street and see what takes your fancy. Masses of places, bound to be something for everyone.
