Shop bans bondage nut for taking woman on leash to buy bacon

THE leader of a bizarre sex and bondage cult has been banned from his local butcher's shop - for taking his "slave" in on a leash while he ordered bacon.

Lee Thompson, head of the Kaotian sect, trains and keeps women as subservient members.

They wear collars and wrist cuffs when they appear in public - and cook, clean and sit at their master's feet at home.

Behind closed doors they are subjected to beatings and whippings. The balding and bearded "master" - who recruits over the internet - has already been probed by police.

But as all the slaves are volunteers, officers are powerless to act.

Shopkeepers in his home town of Darlington, County Durham, where the cult operate from a suburban house, refuse to serve the cult chief.

Thompson, 31, insisted all his slaves were free to leave.


He said: "A sad slave is no good at all. I treat mine like diamonds.


"I want to see a girl's eyes sparkle and her mouth turn up at the corners.


"It is a total lifestyle and works on the system that some women have a desire to serve.


"Most people think it is a very sexual thing but it is about every action that they make. They do it for their master.


"Saying that, the girls do everything they are told when it comes to sex, but it is all voluntary and safe.


"I use internet chat rooms to meet people. The girls are quite willing."


The Darlington branch of the sect - who claim to have up to 350 members - was probed by police after a call from the United States claiming a Canadian woman was "trapped" there.


The 29-year-old had burned her passport and return ticket home to join the cult. But when she finally decided to leave, she was placed in a women's refuge by Durham police before flying back to Canada.


Thompson now has a replacement slave - as well as an apprentice, 18-year-old Zachary Nicodemus, who quit his computer job in Essex to follow the "master".


Despite claims by his family that he had been brainwashed, Nicodemus said he was at the house voluntarily and happily.


He added: "All my life, I have had a feeling there was something missing. Then I met Mr Thompson. This is the thing I've been looking for."


The Kaotian cult are an offshoot of the Goreans, a mostly internet-based group inspired by a series of misogynistic science fiction novels by US professor John Norman in the 60s.


Thompson also has a long-term partner, who is aware that he has sex with his slaves.


He believes slavery bears many similarities to marriage, adding: "No one is ever equal in marriage - this is a very deep extension of that."

no doubt the expected backlash will occur. a year ago i'd have thought the same but i know so many people who live in lifestyle Dominant/submissive relationships who are all perfectly decent people that i didn't even bat an eyelid at that story.

it's just a more extreme part of BDSM. there's a lot of psychological reasons you can look into behind it. you get the reverse as well, where men believe women to be superior beings and want nothing more than to serve them. having spoken to quite a few people like this, i believe them to be genuine.
