it was a pretty clear, crisp morning down here, no coud, so, yes, I'd assume that the sound could have traveld that far, unimpeded.

I was sleeping with earplugs in last night, as two fuckers in two flats decided to have, what seemed like, a party war...fucking loud music at 2 am makes me reach for the ear plugs, call me an old fart...
