Default tech help- IE wont open any new windows
pissing computers!

my internet explorer wont open any new linked windows, i just get a blank window.

what could this be? hopefully simple to fix.sure its not my firewall, as it still happens when i disable it.this is making me want to spit.

all help muchos appreciated folks.

And run a scan. Sounds like it could be an IE hijack.....firefox is cool, but the tabbed browing sometimes get a bit annoying when you close a window then realise you've lost about 15 different pages you had open. Does anyone know if this can be turned off?

You can go to tools/options/advanced and there's an option under tabbed browsing to warn you when you attempt to close a window with more than one tab open.

or just clsoe the tab,simply flick to a more innocent one then right click on the offending tab. Problem solved Keilan.
