I can`t help thinking of the Simpsons episode "Homer The Vigilante"


Moe, Homer, McAllister, and Skinner all check out their own shotguns in
the Simpson home.

Marge: I don't think the guns are a good idea.
Homer: Marge! We're responsible adults. And --
Moe: [shoots] Whoops.
Homer: And if a group of responsible adults can't handle firearms
in a responsible way --
