Came across this article, the picture is a bit gruesome to say the least, so if your a tad squemish i wouldn't click the link, but my oh my is that one BiiiiiiiiG Snake!!!

Worryingly, that isn't even close to the biggest pythons....that pic was of a Burmese Python (3.9m)....record size for a Reticulated Python is 33ft (over 10m). Here's one of the scary buggers:
