howies is delicious. good scottish food done with a little flair and tasty as hell.

rusticos is good simple italian food also done for maximum taste.

pavarotti's. usually a bit quieter and you have some realllllllly fine food and wine and you can be as louf as u like.

close to centre of town to go forth and get merry afterwards

Cafe 52 - good food (bit weird sometimes) laid back staff and great puddings - small and dark like all the best restaurants should be


foyer also nice but pricey, bit posher but very friendly staff
