england proved tonight that 11 excellent footballers maketh not a team.
both scotland and northern ireland proved that 11 semi decent players, and great motivation DO make a team.

Hence, football is a team game.

Beckham was immense tonight though, despite the disorganisation of the team. it was like watching pub football by the end. Well done Northern Ireland!

and well done scotland!

rooney was awful on the left, owen was surrounded and wright-phillips was the best player on the pitch till he got taken off.

Great result for NI, they played very well and grew in confidence as the game went on. England didn't really create any clear cut chances.

The look on Ian Wrights face at the end was awesome, he is the biggest wanker on tv. And John Motson can get to fuck too.
