Wink Danny Baker to release 9/11 bloopers video

Danny Baker is to release a tape of side-splitting bloopers caught by amateur cameraman during the September the 11th attacks.

The video contains the now classic moment when a New York fire-fighter’s trousers fell down as he was trying to rescue a victim of the atrocity.

Another gaffe features the moment captured on September the 12th of the hijacker who got his dates wrong and flew his plane into thin air.

"My favourite howler is when George Bush asked recently when the anniversary of September the 11th was," host Baker says.

“We’ve also got a great clip of someone jumping from the burning towers only to land on a discarded trampoline, bounce back up and land back in the tower,” Baker laughs.

The video is just a small part of a massive merchandising drive to cash in on the forthcoming anniversary of the attacks.

A special edition Twin Towers Jenga will also be released and a September the 11th Twix is already on sale, with the slogan ‘Let your hunger destroy the twin towers of taste’.

Many special events are also been planned throughout the country.

"I'm going to a 9/11 fancy dress party next week. I'm going as some rubble," comedian Gary Wilmot said.

One Huddersfield pensioner is planning his own unique tribute to the atrocity. "I’ve bought a weekend flying lessons from WH Smiths," pensioner Ernie Jackson told us.

"I'm going to fly my plane into the Towers twins, who are two boys who live on our estate. They're a right pair of little bastards. Last week I caught them pissing through my letterbox,” he added.

TV bosses are planning several special programs to mark the anniversary. Channel 5 will be showing a 2 part special following 11 adult film actresses flying over to ground zero to film a hardcore porn version of the attacks.

And BBC are filming a new show in which Rolf Harris trains to be a fundamentalist Muslim terrorist and tries to recreate a suicide attack of his own.

Many World leaders are also making plans to commemorate the tragic events of last year. Tony Blair is having an informal barbecue with Leslie Grantham and Osama Bin Laden is having a quite meal at a Bernie Inn with close friends.

Reports also say George Bush is set to announce that, as of a mark of respect for those that died in the twin towers, anything that comes in two’s will be banned, including tits.

Danny Baker has actually done one good thing in his life.

He was directly responsible for the death of that ganga fiend Bob "ganga fiend" Marley.

While playing in a journo vs musician charity kick about he stamped on Marleys foot which cause the toe infection that lead to his death.

Sorry I'm struggling to find the humor in this one.

Really?

I used to like his Radio 1 show, and he used to do a good football phone in on Radio 5 as well.

Sonhenry, I see where you're coming from and I guess America wouldn't be ready for this kind of "humor" yet, but at the same time I think you would need to understand something about Danny Baker and his series of "Own Goals and Sporting Gaffes" videos as well before you would find this funny.

That was the only bit I found funny. That and the DVD cover, which is comedy genius for the depraved! The office is now wondering wtf I am laughing at...of course I may get mixed reactions if I show them the DVD cover

The cover is a gaffe in itself - Shouldn't it read "9/11 Fun" as opposed to "91 Fun"

Jokes on whoever created that.

Sick bastard.

That shit gives gaffes a bad name. i love 'em, but that's just pure sick.

No, the joke's on you. Of course it's supposed to read "9 1 Fun" because that rhymes with "9-1-1". Geddit?
