The government never took full advantage of his skills, and he was always a man of principle. A big loss to politics and the country. Very sad.

that's a real shame, one of the few voices of reason during the war and his arguments were always well thought out and logical. he didn't always come off as the nicest of guys but he'll be missed as a guy who had principles and stood up for what he thought mattered.
