Hey, I was wondering if anyone could give me advice in setting up/incorporating a php calendar into a website?

I had an idea for a website and it's mainly based around the calendar so I'd like to get something that's both attractive and easy to update/edit/change the look of. I found a template at http://codegrrl.com/scripts/phpcalendar/ but I didn't have much luck with setting up the database as I don't know much about that...

Any advice or help would be greatly appriciated...also if anyone has suggestions to alternative methods i.e. html templates....cheers in advance I know there will be someone here who knows their stuff.
