Now I might be a sucker for feelgood Teen movies where there's always a happy ending and everyone becomes better people, but I just love Empire Records, I think it's my favourite movie ever.

am i the only one who thinks empire records is just slightly (just slightly mind) overatted and its not the masterpiece everyone seems to think it is and is infact lightweight fluff albeit with the very pretty liv tyler being generally adorable???

but...but...it not even the best film in a record shop (high fidelity peeps) or even my favourite liv tyler film (yeh she's cute...but stealing beautys better).....

im sorry i'll take my naysaying and go...have your thread back and bask in the glow of the films cult status
