Default Battle Royale -the end!
Well, iv seen the start about 3 times. iv read about it, but last night i finally got to see the whole of battle royale!
Brilliant film, so funny at points - but the best death i thought had to be Taekeshi at the end- getting up and answering the phone then just dying.

Fan-dabby-dosie!

Anyone seen the sequel? That should take me another few years...

I agree, pure class film, including an excellent use of classical music. The sequel is ok, not a patch on the original, and makes a political statement (mmm 9:11 perhaps). Its worth watching though just to see what happens with the characters from the first film.

It's a great movie. Agree with Martin on the sequel, it's more heavy handed with a guy with stone hands holding a ten ton weight with a fat girl eating an ice-cream sitting on them.
