Musical Exposure - A Challenge

OK, I was pondering last night that I really just don't hear enough new music, not enough local music and generally not enough music beyond what I know I like.

So I have decided to try and remedy this, and would like other folk's help.

Is anyone willing to burn me a CD with a range of bands, new and/or local, which they think I really should be hearing?

I don't care about genre, I just wanna get to hear some new bands so I can broaden the old musical horizons.

I think you'll find it worked quite well last time. I'm sure there aren't that many people out there who can be bothered making you a mix cd if they're not gonna get something in return. This way you get to check out heaps of new stuff.

I was involved in Mark 2 of the mixtape swapshop, and it quickly just disintegrated.

Looks like I will have to remain narrow-minded musically.
