was playing this for the first time online last night and holy shit it's fun!! it was sheer madness tables and radiators and cars flying everywhere thanks to the gravity gun, it's like fighting with the FORCE!

pick a server with as low a ping as possible. That should help lag.

lucky sod. the best i get is bout 25-30 (1M line)


to improve your latency (lower it) get a faster connection. there are loads of commands in HL2 that are useful to improve your overall connection, etc. hunt about on valves forums (hint: use the quicksearch) . lots of posts on how to improve fps, lag, etc......

swine. anyone know how to make a computer pingable while using zonealarm. i found instructions for zonealarm pro but not for the free downloadable version. i could of course just turn it off but i'd rather not.
