Default Viz Appreciation Thread
I dont know if Viz is such a widely popular magazine on here; but it should be

The new annual has some incredible good characters. My favourite has to be

Fru'T'Bun and his Gingerbread Sex Dolls

Although characters that got a little stagnant before like Fat Slags, Sid the Sexist and Billy Fish have come out in a whole new light and the humour is as strong as it was in 85...probably

If anyone else here enjoys this adult humoured magazine, lets hear it!

I fucking love the joke adverts that just rip the piss: ie. wife-ex paint, Queue Gardens, the Tutenkamunh Elvis millenium clock! Thats all I read, they are brilliant!

I love VIZ!! i always get the annuals but for some reason my shop doesnt stock the mag....dammit. Fat slags are ace lol the strip with the rat was fucking minging tho....

They've really turned things around lately I reckon. they go through amazing annulas like The hangmans Noose and then not so good ones like The Porky Chopper (thought the lattr was about a decade ago.

The one in Hangmans noose lately with the grandad that thinks he's as small as a marble and tries to escape for shennanigans in his grandsons hat. the mum walks in and gives him a lecture; his reply "Damn Mickey she's seen us. She must have eyes like a hawk"!

Yep Viz is funny as. The joke ads are quality too. One in "The Beartrappers Hat" annual has one for "quality porn for the discerning masturbator" - laminated for no stains. Tasha Slapper (Geordie chav) and Fru T Bun are my favourite "new" characters. Oh and 8 Ace, the way it strikes home when you're waiting for the Schooner to open.
Mrs 8 Ace to child: "Has the tooth fairy been yet?"
Child: "Aye it pissed on me bed and brayed me and took me money."
"Mrs 8 Ace: "Ace! Ye bastard!"
