Ma Cameron's would be my 1st choice - Quality food and drink every time

I also find Blackfriars a great place to eat / drink

I'll second that, Ma Camerons - Sausage and Mash and a Pint of Guiness, wins every time.

Also the Sheperds Rest on your way to Kingswells/Westhill is also good.

Soul on Union Street is really good for food, and has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the food in The Monkey House was. I'm also quite a big fan of the old Hogshead because it's always quiet.

Seconded on both counts.

For travelling out of the city centre I can heartily recommend Pinehurst Lodge in Dyce.
