Default Your year(too early maybe)

Hi, just sudenly realised that soon 2004 is over and how bloody quick has it went? The idea of this thread is for each person that posts to quick a breif overview of your year for the rest of us noisy buggers. Guess its only fair that i get the ball rolling

Began 2nd smester of uni, whilst trying to get over an ex gf. Smoked too much weed but passed exams, much to my surprise. Ex gf came crawling back, like stupid mug went back with her. Worked at tesco for the summer, never ever again.Enjoyed many drunken nites and began uni again. Jesus iv had quite a boring year,

2004 has been pretty shit for me.

Broke up with my long term girlfriend.

Got pissed loads.

Had loads of mental women stalking me.

Had a shit time at work, both in terms of some of the stuff i'm doing and the workload.

Still, at least i went to Australia! And that was one of the best things EVER!

Got an ace job, got even better car, saw Hatebreed, Slayer and Slipknot, spent a brilliant weekend in Blairgowrie at my aunties caravan bought some seriously cool shit on eBay, many drunken nights in Moshulu. Heaps more but my brain is mince just now so that is all your getting.

Took in the new year in South Africa with family, returned to mind numbing but well paid job, got made redundant from mind numbing but well paid job, hurrah, fucked off to Prague to recharge batteries, got another well paid job on short term contract, left job, got pissed, fucked off to Benicassim festival in Spain for a couple of weeks, got pissed again, lazed about for a while, decided to return to Uni for a year, met loads of new folk, studied hard, away to take fuckers at mind numbing but well paid job to court. Yas.

This years been pretty ace actually. Plenty of brilliant gigs, nights in Moshulu/local pub, 4 month break in the Summer and an unholy abundance of forest walks.

Overall - i think pretty good year 2004 for me!! Some hightlights.
  • Bought a new guitar (Ibanez RG1570LZB Prestige)
  • Maiden Taiwan gigs
  • The start of a new band project with original material which I'm v. happy with
  • Nightwish at Bradford!!!
  • OMG - DragonForce at Glasgow - FUCKING AMAZING!!!
  • Missing Sonata Arctica at Bloodstocl (Chose g/f instead!)
  • Reaching 2 year relationship milestone with said g/f
  • Halo 2 ...
  • HALF-LIFE 2! and Counter-Strike Source
  • New albums from Sonata Arctica and Nightwish amougnst others..

Let me think of what else.... (told you I'd forget something....)

2004 has been a fantastic year for me.

My parents moved to oman leaving the run of the house to me and my brother which is cool. I got a great new bf in may and am still with him. I've made heaps of new friends this year. Been stage manager for a show at haddo house which I enjoyed heaps and am helping out with a panto at the mo. Improved a little on my netball. Am one year closer to paying off my car. Been to some ace gigs, and T in the park for the first time. Went to Oman in Sep for a week and am off again on the 20th Dec for another week. Generally having a great time all round, drank far too much, smoked far too much but am still standing and enjoying myself.
