the best I can find is that the singer is a guy called Chris Warren and the band were called the DX band. They played it live at a wrestlemania in the nineties. It is DEFINITELY not RATM though and is one of the most annoying myths surrounding rage. Not helped by stupid people renaming MP3s so it looks like it's by rage and uploading tabs saying it's a rage song.

Why the hell would rage do a song for the WWF? I mean really.
