Does anyone know any good sites that will give info on the Russian Revolution and Russia preferably before the second world war.

Whatever you do don't go to russianhistory.org well you could, but I don't think it would be all that informative...

Don't know of any sites online Camie, but I have quite a few books on that very subject. You can always pop down to the ape cage to borrow them if you want. Is this for academic purposes?

Not a website, but suggest you check out John Reed's Ten Days That Shook The World. Said to be the most important account of the Russian revolution. The Central Library does have a copy.
Folks may know of John Reed via the movie Reds.

I've got lots of higher politics stuff I'm done with if you want to borrow it. It's got stuff about how the revolution affected education and I think that's about all. Dunno if it would help.
