Default Ebay Scam

I got this in an email, then filled out the information and submitted, though it didn't work. Thank god because my parents think it's a scam. It came from an official ebay address. What do you all think, should I believe it? (I don't like the bit I highlighted in bold)

How exactly do they verify the form without an e-mail?

Pretty convincing though with the correct email address and the warning, when you are in a stupid mood. At least it never worked!

Don't use Ebay full stop, I think it's a piece of shite. I prefer hunting for specialist auctions across the country and bidding by the ol' dog and bone. So old fashioned I know, but nowt beats the thrill of a real live auction.......
