My Ipod had problems, I filled out a form, they repaired it. No probs. I still love it, probably more than I've ever loved a proper person, and would recommend it to anyone.

I notice that Sony have a new 20Gb player out that's practically identical to the I-Pod, but with a 30 hour battery life, as opposed to the I-Pod's 12. Could be serious competition, no?

If only I could afford it.

if you don't mind converting everything into atrac format. You can buy a book that tells you how to replace the battery yourself, it also tells you how to install linux on your ipod

i thought about getting one but i read an article about a new chip thats been designed so the are gonna make an ipod micro or something like that.

im gonna wait til the new year and see what else is out. there has to be decent competition from other companies sometime.

Atrac is the worst codec ever, take fucking ages to copy stuff to mini disc, much better with my phone, plays mp3 and there's a hack to let it play divx films, battery life is somewhat limited though. Ipods are the walkman's of the new century
