Default ISP? Who do you recommend?

Moving in a few weeks.

Just wondering who you would recommend. A fast as possible (for Ellon).

I was thinking Sky because I already have a sky package and it would be happy to have everything in one package.

Thoughts?

Yeah, if you are already a Sky subscriber go with them, only a fiver on top of your package.

I cancelled Sky so I'm with 02 now, excellent service.

depends hog. if you're an o2 contract customer you get some decent deals through them.

also depends what you use t'interweb for?

if its just for browsing *pron* (at work, dont want it picked up) and updating your website then you won't need samual-L-jackson-super-crystal-fibre-optic-kryptonite-robot internet.
2-8 mb will do.

if you download movies/music etc regularly then look into someone (not BT) who don't throttle their users to slow down torrents and such. I've not had t'interweb in a while as i'm in between permanent addresses so I'm not up on who's doing what just now.

some googlage should sort that right out though.

I just moved to Orange after they offered me free broadband as part of my existing phone package. Got a free wireless livebox as well, which is better than a kick in the teeth, in my opinion.
