Is there any way of saving/converting a word document into a jpeg?

print screen

open image editor

paste

save as->jpg

or use an image editor's screen capture utility.

This might help as well:

Essentially it says print to file (use MS Document Image Writer instead of an installed printer). You could then load the .tif file you get from that into Photoshop/Gimp/Paintshop and save it as a jpeg.

Exactly what I was going to say, print screen and paste it into Paint.

There is a way you can save as pdf then convert to a succession of jpegs its in openoffice somewhere
