it's 12 months, so if you bought it on launch date only month and a half leftish. Why what happened to yours? the remote fly into it lol?

the reliability of the 360's have been greatly increased since launch. there are games out there which aren't based on shooting and football like viva pinata which is ace. if you like wargames then even better as the 360 has tons of great ones. there's a load of great rpg's available too like blue dragon and eternal sonata.

199 is a great price for a premium console. i've never came close to filling the hard drive of my premium and quite happily use a vga cable and a crt monitor to get hd gaming without shelling out loads of cash on an hd tv.

So I've spent the last day looking at bundles online to see if I could beat the play offer for value. The best one I've seen so far is £259 for 360 Premium with Forza 2, Smackdown vs Raw 2007 and an extra wireless controller.

If I buy the play console + a game (probably Halo) + a wired controller I'm looking at £257.

Anyone know of any other good bundles or do any of the gamestation/other retailers staff that post here know of anything good coming up in the next few weeks for christmas?

you don't want forza 2, you want pgr4 instead. you could check out the trade in value of forza and smackdown as that could be useful for picking up extra games.

I WANT Halo 3, but I'm willing to wait and go for value for money if I have to.

Where can I check trade in value? Anywhere online or do I have to go into Game and ask?

Actually looking at play Forza 2 is pretty cheap and there's a new smackdown out next month. So it maybe isn't such a good deal.

Perhaps I'll just go for the play deal. It's not as though I have much time to play more than 1 game just now anyway and I've got PC games to finish as well...

yea it's a pretty good deal that. i can always lend you a couple of games too, plus you can download shitloads of demos off xbox live.

you could trade in your xbox and games for a couple of games like halo and fifa.

How much would I get for my xbox and games in trade in though? I've got 20 games so if I sell privately I could get a good wedge of the cash for the 360.

you wouldn't get much i'd imagine. £3 - 10 per game depending on the game. £25 maybe for the console. that's just a guess, pop into game/gamestation after your work and ask them.

mass effect comes out next month, it's going to make ps3 owners cry i tell you!
